You will need to allow 1-2 hours for the shrimp to marinade.
This recipe serves 2 but can be easily doubled, tripled etc…
1/2 lb shelled and deveined shrimp
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbs. grated onion
1 tsp worcestershire
1 tbs. tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp cayenne powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 small tortillas, flour or corn depending on your preference
1/2 crumbled cotija cheese, or jack cheese if not available
Marinate the shrimp with the juice of 1/4 lime, save the remaining lime for squirting on the tacos, the garlic, the worcestershire and ketchup for 1-2 hours.
Either fire up the grill or get a cast iron pan hot and cook shrimp just until pink and starting the char, serve immedately on warmed tortillas with cilantro, cheese, a squirt of lime juice and hot sauce. Enjoy!
